      Bushra Ahmed is a Partner at Mishcon de Reya and Co-Head of the firm’s Middle East Disputes Practice. A leading disputes lawyer, arbitrator, and mediator with more than 25 years of experience, she advises clients on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, regulatory investigations, fraud, shareholder disputes, and asset recovery across the UAE and the wider Middle East. Bushra has acted in many of the most significant cases before the DIFC Courts, including Tabarak, widely recognised as the first crypto asset dispute before the DIFC Courts, giving her unique, first-hand insight into the practical application of the DIFC Digital Assets Law and the evolving legal framework governing digital assets. Her extensive experience advising financial institutions, multinational corporations, investment firms, and high-net-worth individuals enables her to deliver practical, commercially focused guidance on the legal, regulatory, and dispute-related challenges associated with digital assets in the DIFC.
