

Khaled is a technology partner at Keystone Law Middle East. Khaled started his career in internet engineering. He was a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and won the IET’s global prize for his research on internet music piracy and IP infringement. As a lawyer, Khaled leads large scale transactions in the technology and telecoms sectors involving 5G, AI, Big Data, cloud computing, fibre, FinTech, legal technology, mobility and software as a service. Khaled’s masters thesis was in the field of anti-bribery programmes and regulatory compliance.
Rany Sader is the co-founder and managing partner of SADER & Associates (Advocates & Legal Consultants). He is a prolific author of legal books, such as the Reference Guide of Intellectual Property Jurisprudence and other publications in Arabic, French and English. As President of the SADER Law Research Center (affiliated to SADER Group, established in 1863), Rany is the author of several studies published locally, regionally and internationally related to publishing, information technology, intellectual property and legal training. As founder and president of the SADER Law Research Center (SLRC), Rany led and directed the implementation of numerous projects and acted as project leader to numerous “Rule of Law” projects in the region such as the digitization of the Abu Dhabi laws project, the establishment of the UAE Ministry of Justice legal portal, and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Digital Legal Library.
Michel Séjean is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Interpretation and Translation (ISIT Paris) and holds a Ph.D. in Law. He is a Professor at the Université Bretagne Sud. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Henri Capitant Law Review and a member of the Paris MENA Legal Club’s Scientific Board.
Dr. Abdulaziz Altuwaijri is a law professor at King Saud University. He’s a senior consultant at Burhan Almarifa. Dr. Altuwaijri is, Also, a consultant for a number of Saudi government entities. Dr. Altuwaijri graduated with an S.J.D. and L.L.M from Georgetown University and L.L.B. from KSU.
ALANOUD YAQOUB AL-FAHAD is the Director of the Monopolistic and Competitive Investigation Department. With a total of 15 years of experience in law, she received her bachelor’s degree in Law, her master’s degree in Public Law, and her higher diploma in Private Law. Of her 15 years in the field, she has spent 4 years working closely with competition law.
Nils is a Belgian-qualified tax lawyer and member of the Brussels Bar with extensive experience advising on taxation across the GCC. Based in the Middle East since 2017, he works with multinational corporations, regional businesses, and government-linked entities on complex tax planning and compliance matters.
Chadi Salloum represents sovereign entities, multinational companies, regional utilities and financial institutions in a broad range of transactions, including corporate commercial, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, renewable energy and other projects, private equity, privatizations, spinoffs, strategic alliances, tender offers, initial public offerings, rights offerings, and private placements of equity, equity-linked, and debt securities. Joanna Maria El Khoury focuses her practice on corporate and financial transactions. Previously based in Washington, DC, and Paris, Joanna has experience in cross-border matters across a number of jurisdictions including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and North America. She advises in relation to complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings, and also has experience advising investment funds in private equity and venture capital matters. Joanna has also represented issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions including both debt and equity securities offerings as well as sukuk, or sharia compliant bonds.
